大岭村迄今已有800多年的历史，有着特色鲜明的岭南水乡自然风光和底蕴深厚的优秀传统文化，是广州市唯一的“中国历史文化名村”。

  规划坚持以保护村落历史文化遗存、建设“美丽乡村”示范村和促进村落可持续发展为目标，提倡倡村落的可持续发展，历史保护与旅游观光等现代城市功能有机结合。

he Plan aims to conserve the historic heritage of Daling Village, set up an exemplary village for the undertaking of “Beautiful Villages” and promote the sustainable development of the village.

The Plan defines the “purple lines” for the conservation of historic conservation zones, cultural relic conservation sites and listed buildings in Daling Village. It also includes regulatory requirements respectively on the key conservation areas, the construction control zones and the environmental coordination zones.
